CARRIER CR & CRXL

MULTITASKING THAT IMPROVES YOUR PRODUCTION

Carrier CR and XL, the multitasking implement designed by Väderstad to optimize cover management and prepare a seedbed with multiple benefits, from improved soil fertility, more efficiency, time and cost savings to pest prevention, resistant weed control, among many others.

Carrier is a must-have tool in modern agriculture due to its many benefits.

-It offers a very uniform soil preparation, ideal for effective sowing and germination.
-Its versatility allows it to work in different types of soils and conditions, adapting to different depths.
-Reduces operating costs by reducing the number of passes, fuel consumption, and wear and tear on machinery.
-It improves soil structure by breaking up clods and mixing waste, promoting aeration and drainage.
-It includes adjustment systems that allow precise work adapted to each terrain.
-It helps control weeds by digging them up or leaving them exposed for removal.
-Its robust construction guarantees resistance and durability in demanding conditions.
-It is easy to use thanks to its modern technology, without the need for advanced technical knowledge.
-With an attachment, BioDrill, you can also sow small seeds, in the same pass.

Carrier

Non-compact, does not remove cover and prevents erosion

Carrier improves soil planting conditions by cutting and mixing the stubble in the most superficial layer, at a controlled depth.

This technique facilitates the natural infiltration of water by maintaining humidity and regulating temperature, thus offering better development conditions to seeds, roots and plants.

Carrier

Improves soil fertility

The Carrier prepares an ideal seedbed with minimal soil disturbance, mixing the stubble in the most superficial layer (03 to 10cm) and leaving a percentage of vegetation cover on the surface, to generate greater production of organic matter. This increases the availability of nutrients within reach of the roots.

Transport
Carrier

Carrier XL 425-525: approved transport speed 30 km/h with wheel dimensions 400/60-15.5 and 520/50-17.

Carrier XL 625-725: homologated transport speed 40 km/h with wheel dimension 560/45-22.5

AVAILABLE MODELS

Tempo L
CR 350-400

The drag version of the Carrier CR400 is equipped with the RubberRunner transformer roller.

The weight is distributed between the tractor and the disc cultivator, which can reduce the rate of compaction in the soil.

Tempo L Central Fill
XL 425-725

Trailing disc cultivator, available in four working width sizes: 4.25m, 5.25m, 6.25m and 7.25m.

The size of the discs, diameter 510mm or 610mm, with adjustable angles, allows working at different controlled depths.

BioDrill Seed Drills

the ideal complement to the Carrier

With the BioDrill 180 or 250 planter for the CR models, and BioDrill 360 for the XL models, it is possible to manage the cover and sow the smallest seeds with high precision in the same pass, which represents a significant saving in time and costs.

BioDrill sows very small seeds such as Canola, Chia, Sesame, cover crops, among others, with high-precision dosing of up to 1kg/ha. It features a radar-controlled measurement system and a powerful hydraulic turbine that allow uniform distribution over the entire working width.

What our customers say:

"Excellent results with coating and lime – Carrier XL 625 Väderstad
We are using the Carrier XL 625 Väderstad with 510mm TrueCut and CrossCut Aggressive discs, and the results have been excellent. We mainly use it to incorporate cover crops along with lime, and the mixture it achieves is really uniform. The discs work with very good penetration and allow a superficial but effective tillage, achieving a rapid decomposition of plant residues. Most notably, we are already seeing concrete improvements in our soil analyses: better pH distribution, greater organic matter, and a more balanced structure for subsequent crops. Undoubtedly, the Carrier XL 625 has become a key tool in our agronomic management. It is efficient, robust and offers an ideal floor finish to continue adding productivity. "
